Jefferson City, MO : Toddler dies in Moniteau County farm accident on Tuesday, October 3, 2017

A one-year-old boy was killed in a farm accident, Tuesday evening in Moniteau County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the incident occurred on private property in the 36200 block of Mullins Road around 5:26 p.m.

A tractor driven by Eric Shirk, 11, of Latham, was going west on the private property when Elam Shirk, 1, of Latham, went into the path of the tractor and was struck.
