Huntsville, AL : Accused Drug Dealer In Custody After High-Speed Chase, Crash on Tuesday afternoon, January 27, 2015

A high speed chase that spilled onto I-565 in Huntsville did not end well for an accused drug dealer Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies with the Madison County Sheriff's Office said drug agents spotted the suspect, Kendrick Sales, making a transaction near Jordan Lane this afternoon. When they attempted to pull Sales over he reportedly sped away toward the interstate, but minutes later the car crashed into another vehicle on the Sparkman Drive exit ramp.

Investigators said the suspect then attempted to run away from the crash, but he was captured in a nearby area shortly later. We're told a person in the other vehicle was taken to Huntsville Hospital for minor injuries. Charges against Sales are pending.
