Hot Springs, AR : Two dead, including Mena man in a vehicle collision in Garland County on Sunday, June 12, 2016

A Mena man died in a vehicle collision Sunday in Garland County, according to the Arkansas State Police.

John A. Collum, 32, of Mena was traveling west in a 1995 Honda Civic on Arkansas 270 about 3:10 p.m. Sunday, failed to maintain control of the vehicle, crossed the center line and hit another vehicle that was traveling east, according to ASP.

Collum, as well as his passenger, Maribel Bovadilla, 24, of Lowell died in the collision. A couple from White Hall were injured during the collision and were taken by ambulance to St. Vincent's Hospital in Hot Springs for treatment, according to ASP.
