A Mabton woman and three children were injured in a two-car collision on State Route 22 Thursday evening, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The crash happened about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of SR 22 and Phillips Road east of Mabton.
According to a WSP news release, a 1992 Honda Civic headed south on Phillips Road failed to stop at a stop sign and hit an eastbound 2004 Mitsubishi Galant.
The driver of the Galant, Rosa E. Mendez-Ochoa, 26, of Mabton, along with three passengers — an 8-year-old girl and two boys, ages 1 and 4 — were taken to PMH Medical Center in Prosser, according to the patrol.
Mendez-Ochoa was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said. The children’s names were not released.
Troopers said the driver of the Civic, Fernando Arroyo-Hernandez, 18, of Mabton, was not injured.
