Jefferson County, MO : 21-year-old man died in crash on Highway 21, north of the North Britton Road Junction on Tuesday, Sep 29, 2015

A 21-year-old man was killed in Jefferson County on Tuesday after losing control of his car, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.

Billy Cain, of Cadet, was northbound on Highway 21, north of the North Britton Road Junction, when he lost control of his 2003 Ford Taurus on the wet roadway.

Cain was traveling along a curve, then crossed the southbound lane and struck two trees.

Valle Ambulance personnel pronounced Cain dead at 11:54 a.m.
