Cold Springs ,NV : NHP continues search for vehicle and suspect in deadly Cold Springs crash on Saturday afternoon ,July 11th 2015

Authorities are still searching for a vehicle and suspect in a possible hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a local motorcyclist.

The deadly crash originally happened in the afternoon of July 11 in Cold Springs.

The Nevada Highway Patrol said witnesses on scene at the time of the crash reported 51-year-old Stephen L. Hobbs of Reno was traveling northbound on US 395 on a black 2007 KTM sport bike when a silver Subaru WRX -- also traveling northbound -- struck the sport bike, causing it to overturn and eject Hobbs.

Hobbs later died because of his injuries, authorities said.

Troopers said they are searching for a silver 2010 or newer Subaru WRX that may or may not have left front/lef
