Chesterfield County, VA : N.J. woman killed and two injured in car accident on Interstate 95 in Virginia on Wednesday, December 24, 2014

A 48-year-old Hackensack woman was killed Wednesday when the car in which she was a passenger crashed along Interstate 95 in Virginia, according to a report.

Alexandri McKinney, 48, was pronounced dead at a local hospital after the 5 a.m. crash in Chesterfield County, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported.

The driver of the 2010 Toyota Camry, Xaviar N. Sanders, 19, of Homestead, Fla. was charged with reckless driving.

State Police said Sanders drove off the right side of the highway, then maneuvered the car back onto the road across several lanes of traffic and into the barrier separating the two sides of the interstate.

McKinney was not wearing a seatbelt, the report said.

Sanders and a 4-year-old seated in the back of the car, who were both properly restrained, were treated for non life-threatening injuries.
