Gadsden, AL : Marshall County teen dies in car accident on Saturday, November 26th 2016

A single-vehicle crash Saturday claimed the life of a Marshall County teen.

The 16-year-old was killed when the Chevrolet Cobolt she was driving left the roadway and struck a fence before overturning. The teen, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred at 11:12 a.m. on Hulaco Road, 2 miles south of Arab.

Although the circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation, preliminary investigation indicates speed was a factor in the crash. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
