Beaver, PA : Pair may have been trapped after PennDOT truck overturns in western Pennsylvania on Thursday, September 18, 2014
Two people were reportedly trapped after a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation truck overturned in western Pennsylvania.
Beaver County 911 dispatchers say the accident happened about 1:15 p.m. Thursday along a road in Brighton Township. That's about 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash. A dispatch supervisor says an ambulance was dispatched to the scene, which was still active more than 90 minutes after the crash was reported. There were no immediate reports of fatalities.
Steve Cowan, a spokesman for PennDOT District 11, confirmed the crash involved a line-painting truck. But Cowan says the department had no immediate information about the cause of the crash or any injuries employees may have suffered.
