Walnut Creek, CA : Five people injured in multivehicle collision on Wednesday December 30 2015
Five people were injured, including two who were trapped in a vehicle, in a multivehicle collision Wednesday afternoon, a fire official said.
Fire crews responded to a report of two cars colliding at 3:55 p.m. at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Alpine Road, said Contra Costa County Fire Marshal Robert Marshall.
Two people were extricated from a vehicle and were transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, Marshall said. One person suffered major injuries and four had minor injuries.
