Four people, including two boys and a teen girl, were hurt Saturday in a crash in West Austin.
Around 12:55 p.m., multiple Austin-Travis County EMS units responded to a vehicle rescue call near the intersection of Las Cimas Parkway and Capital of Texas Highway Loop 360). EMS said there were a total of four patients.
The Austin Fire Department, which also responded to the scene, removed two people from a car and crews declared trauma alerts for two boys involved in the crash, EMS said.
One ambulance took a boy with potentially serious injuries to the Dell Children’s Medical Center and then an adult with potentially serious injuries to University Medical Center Brackenridge, EMS said. Another ambulance took the other boy involved in the crash to the Dell Medical Center with serious injuries.
A third ambulance took a teen girl to the St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, EMS said.
