BOUNTIFUL, UT : 18-year-old in critical condition after longboarding accident in Bountiful on Sunday, 2nd October 2016

An 18-year-old male is in critical condition after a longboarding accident in Bountiful on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency responders were dispatched to 650 E. Hills Drive at 12:13 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 after the teen was critically injured in the accident, South Davis Metro Fire Chief Jeff Dassett said.

A Life Flight helicopter was brought in to transport the teen to the hospital.

The identity of the 18-year-old has not been released yet as officials are still notifying family.
