Milwaukee , WI : 59 - Years old Anthony Orosco killed after fatal hit-and-run crash on Friday night ,May 8th 2015

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office told WISN 12 News it was called to the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash at 13th Street and Harrison Avenue around 9:15 p.m. Friday night.
Police said Anthony Orosco, 59, was hit and killed as he crossed the street. Authorities said he had just left his corner store at 13th Street and Harrison Avenue when he was hit and flew about 40 feet toward the bridge.

A Chevy pick-up truck was seen driving away from the scene. A witness flagged down a squad car. The officer tracked down the truck, and took the driver into custody.

The driver, a 34-year-old Milwaukee man failed a sobriety test on the scene, police said. Authorities said the driver, who police have not identified, had a suspended driver's license.

The case will go to the district attorney's office early this week for possible charges.
