ASHTABULA, OH : Ashtabula woman killed in crash on Tuesday, 20th March 2018

The Ohio Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into a one-vehicle crash in Geneva-On-The-Lake, Ohio, that killed an Ashtabula woman on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash was reported on Tuesday at 4:12 p.m. on Route 531, troopers reported Wednesday morning. A 1995 Dodge Ram was traveling west when the driver lost control and traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a fence and a utility pole and trapping the driver, according to investigators.

The driver, 63-year-old Deborah K. Hurst, of Ashtabula, was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
