INDIANAPOLIS, IN : Pedestrian struck, killed on Indy's south side on Saturday, 27th January 2024

A pedestrian was struck and killed on the south side of Indianapolis early Saturday morning.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said they responded to a report of a person struck at West Southport road and Bluff Road around 6:40 a.m.

Upon arrival, they found a deceased victim.

Police said the driver of the vehicle remained on scene after the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
