MARENGO, IA : 1 dead after accident involving a semi in Iowa County on Monday, 11th March 2024

One person is dead after a Monday morning accident in Iowa County involving a semi.

Around 8:14 a.m. on Monday, March 11, a semi was traveling eastbound along Highway 6 Trail near Marengo when a 2009 Ford Fusion pulled out onto the road from North Avenue. The semi struck the driver's side of the vehicle, according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report.
