De Soto man killed in single car crash in Jefferson County

A De Soto man was killed late Friday in a single-vehicle crash in Jefferson County, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.Robert L. Brown, 55, was traveling southbound in a 1984 Dodge Ram on Hyfield Road near Hyfield Oaks Drive about 11:30 p.m. when he ran off the west side of the roadway striking an embankment before overturning, the patrol said.He was pronounced dead at the scene.
