Sonoma,CA : Three hurt in crash south of Sonoma on Sunday, 4 September 2016
Three people went to hospitals Sunday afternoon after a two-car crash south of Sonoma, the California Highway Patrol reported Tuesday.
The crash occurred about 3:25 p.m. on Highway 121 near Burndale Road.
Javier May, 40, of Santa Rosa, made an unsafe turning movement in a 2007 Volkswagen Passat and crashed into a 2016 Nissan Altima driven by Fred Field, 56, of Wichita Falls, Texas, according to the CHP press release.
May, who was unlicensed, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Sonoma Fire to Sonoma Valley Hospital, the CHP reported.
Field and his passenger, Samulee Sie, 68, also of Wichita Falls, both were airlifted by a CHP helicopter to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa. Sie sustained major injuries and Field minor injuries, The CHP reported.
