The woman who died Saturday in a crash in Harrison County has been identified.
Officials say 71 year old Teresa Speir of Gulfport was killed in the two-vehicle crash.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, a 17-year-old was driving eastbound on Bethel Road when he attempted to cross MS 67 in a Ford F-150. During his attempt, the teenager crashed into Speir's 2013 Lexus that was northbound on MS 67.
Speir was pronounced dead on the scene.
The 17 year old received minor injuries, and a 7-year-old passenger in his truck was flown to the University of South Alabama by helicopter for medical treatment.
