RAYNHAM, MA : Raynham police ID Wareham man killed in rollover crash on Sunday, 1st December, 2019
A Wareham man described by friends as a hard worker, who went out of his way to put a smile on the face of others, was identified Monday as the driver killed in a rollover crash after being ejected from his pickup truck in Raynham over the weekend.
Spencer Rogers of Wareham died following a crash on South Street around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, according to Raynham police. Rogers was 23 years old.
Rogers was the only occupant of his Ford F-350 when the vehicle rolled over in the single-vehicle crash, according to police. Rogers was transported by a Raynham Fire Department ambulance to Morton Hospital, where he later died, police said.
“The Raynham police and fire departments responded to South Street East near Williams Avenue at approximately 12:15 a.m. Sunday morning,” Raynham police said. “Upon arrival, rescuers found that a Ford F-350 pickup truck had rolled over.”
Raynham police said on Monday that the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
