Warren, MI : 11-year-old boy struck and killed by a car on 9 Mile Road near Weller Avenue on Wednesday night, Nov 18, 2015

An 11-year-old Warren boy was killed Wednesday night when he was hit by a car on 9 Mile Road.

Police said the boy was biking across the road near Weller Avenue at 6:30 p.m. when he was hit by a Camaro.

The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The 25-year-old driver of the Camaro, also a resident of Warren, stopped and cooperated with police.

Police said alcohol was not a factor in the incident.
