NEOGA, IL : 2 injured in accident near Neoga at the intersection of Cumberland County Road 200E and Center Line Road on Saturday, 26th January 2019

Both drivers needed medical attention after a two-vehicle accident near Neoga Saturday morning.

The accident took place about 11:15 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Cumberland County Road 200E and Center Line Road, about two miles southeast of Neoga, a news release from Illinois State Police said.

The release said a 17-year-old female driver from Neoga, who wasn't identified by name, stopped at the intersection but then pulled into the path of another vehicle.

The second vehicle, driven by Helen Scott, 66, of Toledo hit the first vehicle on its passenger side, the release said.
