Lower Saucon Township, PA : Easton man injured after crash with deer on I-78 Monday night, Oct 5, 2015

An Easton man was injured Monday night after his car and a deer collided on Interstate 78, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Christopher Vogel, 30, was eastbound in Lower Saucon Township when a deer ran directly into the path of his Ford Fiesta, police said.

Vogel suffered a minor cut after his airbag deployed in the crash, state police said. Vogel's passenger was not injured, state police said; both were wearing seat belts.

The Fiesta had to be towed, troopers said.
