STATESVILLE, NC : Driver with revoked license struck killed woman HP on Tuesday, 20th February 2024

A 20-year-old woman driving with a revoked license struck another vehicle head-on killing the vehicle’s 43-year-old driver, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said Tuesday.
Troopers responded to calls regarding the incident around 5:40 p.m. Monday evening on US-70 near Fanjoy Road. Statesville resident Sandra Jackson, 43, was found suffering from injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. A juvenile occupant of the vehicle was also transported with serious injuries. Statesville resident Lizbeth Mojica, 20, was also found suffering from injuries and was transported to an area medical center with serious injuries.
