HARTFORD, CT : Driver arrested for crash that killed motorcyclist in Hartford on Thursday, 25th July 2024

A woman is facing charges in connection with a deadly motorcycle crash that happened in Hartford, according to police.

Authorities said 37-year-old Ingrid Galarza of Hartford was arrested and charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle, assault second-degree, operating without a license, failure to renew registration, insufficient insurance, and improper turn.

Officers responded to the intersection of Zion Street and Harbison Avenue on May 26 for the report of a crash. A motorcycle and an SUV were involved.

“The operator of the motorcycle and 22-year-old female passenger of the motorcycle were found on the ground suffering from severe injuries,” Hartford police said.
