Dallas,TX : Rockwall man killed, 2 injured in five-vehicle crash on I-30 in Mesquite on may, sunday 14th 2017

A 42-year-old man was killed, and two other people were injured in a five-vehicle accident Sunday on westbound Interstate 30 in Mesquite.
A 2013 Freightliner truck tractor struck the back of a 2009 Cadillac CTS about 2:30 p.m. on the highway near Northwest Drive, police said.
The crash caused a chain reaction and the Cadillac hit a Kia Soul, which struck a Chevrolet pickup that hit a Chevrolet Trailblazer, police said. The Cadillac driver, Jason Dwire of Rockwall, was transported to an area hospital, where he died.
The two other people who were injured were transported to area hospitals with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
The crash shut down the westbound lanes of the highway for about five hours.
