Sarasota County, FL: Crashes slow traffic on I-75 on Monday, July 20th 2015

Two vehicle crashes slowed traffic on Interstate 75 on Monday afternoon.Two crashes with injuries happened within minutes of each other in the southbound lanes of I-75, one at mile marker 179 and the other at mile marker 187.At mile marker 187, a passenger vehicle rolled over. Only minor injuries were reported, said Lt. Gregory Bueno, public affairs officers for the FHP.At the other crash site, at mile marker 179.5, a semi driver was injured, and the left lane was blocked for use by emergency vehicles, Bueno said. The extent of the driver's injuries are not yet known, but they do not appear to be traumatic, he said.More information about the cause of the accidents is not yet known.
