Lime City, OH : Perrysburg Township officer injured in vehicle crash on Lime City Road, near Roachton Road on Tuesday, 4th December 2018

A Perrysburg Township police officer was injured Tuesday when she went off the road and into a ditch while driving on Lime City Road.

The officer, Jessica Slowinski, 27, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, Perrysburg Township police Lt. Matt Gazarek said.

The Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, he said. No other vehicles were involved.

The crash occurred at about 1 p.m. on Lime City Road, near Roachton Road, Lieutenant Gazarek said. The officer was on her way back to the station in her patrol car when the crash happened.
