Norwalk, IA : Two people injured in motorcycle crash on Highway 28 in a southern suburb of Des Moines on Saturday, February 21, 2015

Authorities say two people were fatally injured when the motorcycle they were riding crashed in a southern suburb of Des Moines.

The crash occurred after 5 p.m. Saturday on Iowa Highway 28 in Norwalk. Authorities say the driver lost control of the motorcycle on a curve and it hit a cable barrier.

Both people were pronounced dead later at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Their names haven't been released yet.
