Newlin, PA : Man injured after ATV accident in Newlin on Sunday night, April 9, 2017

One person suffered injuries on Sunday night in an ATV accident.

Modena Fire Company and Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company firefighters were dispatched at 5:09 p.m. Sunday to the 900 block of Laurel Road for an accident reported serious. Firefighters received reports of a four-wheeler accident approximately one mile from the roadway into the woods, with possible serious injuries, and that someone was in the process of bringing the injured person out of the woods in a truck.

Medic 93 Brandywine Hospital assessed the patient and requested JeffStat to the scene, according to firefighters. JeffStat 3 made the response and landed across from the scene with firefighters assisting at the landing zone.

JeffStat 3 airlifted the injured man to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. The extent of his injuries were not immediately available on Monday.
