Topeka, KS : Two drivers injured in crash on north end of Topeka Boulevard bridge on Friday morning, February 19, 2016

Two drivers were injured and one transported to an area hospital after their cars collided on the north end of the Topeka Boulevard bridge on Friday morning.

The crash occurred about 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Topeka Boulevard and N.W. Gordon Street.

Officers on the scene said both drivers were injured but one refused transportation to a hospital.

A white Chevy Cavalier was southbound on Topeka Boulevard when it collided with a white Honda Civic turning left from N.W. Gordon to Topeka Boulevard, an officer said.

Officers said they were still collecting information from witnesses about the incident.

The crash briefly closed N.W. Gordon west of Topeka Boulevard as crews cleared the wreckage.
