Houston, TX : Pregnant woman in Houston, Texas dead after being pulled from truck after crash on Thursday, January 1, 2015

Authorities say a pregnant woman has died after her car and another crashed into a Houston building.

Houston Police Department Sgt. J.D. Rossman says initial reports indicate that the woman was involved in a car chase Thursday with her boyfriend after a domestic disturbance.

Rossman says the two vehicles made contact at some point, went off the roadway and crashed into a building. The woman was ejected from her car and was taken to a hospital. He says her 25-week-old baby was delivered and is in an intensive care unit.

The woman was pronounced dead by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office on Thursday afternoon.
