Carson City, NV : Pedestrian sent to hospital after possible hit and run in Carson City on Tuesday, June 17, 2014

According to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong, a pedestrian was hit by a car shortly after noon on Tuesday at Corbett and Stewart streets in Carson City; the vehicle sped away and fled the scene.

The victim was then flown by Care Flight to the trauma unit at Renown Medical Center in Reno; the condition of the pedestrian is unknown at this time.
