Hudsonville,MI : I-196 reopened in Hudsonville after multiple crashes on January, Tuesday 2nd 2018

Eastbound I-196 is currently closed and traffic is at a standstill from the 62-mile marker to past the 64-mile marker exit for M-6 near Hudsonville.

A jackknifed semi truck has been reported, though there are no injuries to anyone in the semi truck. Behind the semi truck, there are multiple additional crashes and slide-offs due to heavy snow, poor visibility and road conditions. Police are reporting multiple cars in the ditch on M-6.

At this point, several individuals have reported having significant injuries and multiple police agencies are assisting the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office with the crashes.
