Two people died tragically Tuesday in one-vehicle accidents on Bell County roads.

In Temple, a man died early Tuesday when was ejected from a pickup he wrecked on South General Bruce Drive, a Temple Police news release said.

The Temple accident happened just before 4:25 a.m. near southbound exit 295 on Interstate 35. Someone who saw the accident said the truck tried to exit when it wrecked onto the service road.

Officers arrived at the scene and found a black Ford pickup and a man who was ejected. He was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene by Bell County Justice of the Peace Don Engleking, Neely said.

The accident reconstruction team was called to the scene. The cause is still under investigation.
