Two Multi-Vehicle Accidents Slow Commute on Inner Loop

Two separate multi-vehicle accidents causedsubstantial delays for commuters on the Beltway's Inner Loop Thursday morning.Maryland State Police say one accident scene was closer to MacArthur Boulevard while the second was near River Road. A pick-up truck, two passenger vehicles and a tractor trailer were involved in the crashes.Two people were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
