Independence fatality investigated

Police say they are investigating a fatal two-car accident on U.S. 24 near the Missouri 291 frontage road in Independence. Reanna White, 22, of Independence, was driving a car south when she was struck and killed by a westbound driver, Independence police said late Friday.
