Luray, MO : Kahoka man injured when SUV runs off road, crashes near Luray on Monday afternoon, January 5, 2015

A 22-year-old Kahoka man sustained moderate injuries after a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 136 Monday afternoon at Luray.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Cody S. Sommers was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer west on U.S. 136 at 1:10 p.m. when he lost control and drove off the left side of the road. The vehicle overturned several times, police said.

Sommers was transported to the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis by Clark County Ambulance. Assisting were the Clark County Sheriff's Department and Clark County Rescue.
