CHESTERFIELD, VA : 1 Pedestrian killed after crash on Midlothian Turnpike on Saturday, 3rd February 2024

The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating the death of a pedestrian after a crash along Midlothian Turnpike late Saturday night.

Officers said a vehicle was traveling west when it struck an adult male pedestrian in the roadway near Koger Center Boulevard just before midnight. The driver of that vehicle remained on the scene and is cooperating with police.

The pedestrian, identified by Chesterfield Police as 57-year-old Norman Davis from Dinwiddie, was pronounced dead at the scene.
