Sparks, NV: 20 years man injured and 24 year old driver arrested in a deadly wreck in Sparks on Saturday, 15th November 2014

A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in a deadly wreck in Sparks. Police say they received a call early Saturday about an injury accident near Sparks High School but with no exact location. A witness phoned a short time later to report where the vehicle involved in the accident was located. Officers found the driver, Sergio Ponce-Garcia of Sparks, still in the vehicle along with an injured 20-year-old male passenger. The passenger was taken to the hospital, where he later died. Ponce-Garcia was subsequently arrested for investigation of driving under the influence. The victim's name and details of the wreck were not immediately released.
