Tallahassee, FL : Driver arrested in hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Stadium Drive and West Call Street on Tuesday, 17th December, 2019

A driver in a Tuesday morning hit-and-run crash that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries has been arrested thanks to tips generated from a viral social media post.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office identified the driver as 24-year-old Merisa Garman. She was booked into the Leon County Jail on charges of a hit and run involving a serious bodily injury.

On Tuesday morning, Garman hit a motorcyclist at the intersection of Stadium Drive and West Call Street, LCSO said in a press release. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
