Marquette County, MI : Two pepoles were Injured after Driver lost control of the full-size pickup truck and went off the road toward the lake on Sunday , February 1st 2015

One happened just before noon on U.S. 41 between Marquette and Harvey. The driver heading north on U.S. 41, lost control of the full-size pickup truck and went off the road toward the lake. It appeared the truck rolled once, ending up on the lake side of the snowmobile trail and was stopped by some tall brush and trees. That brush apparently kept the vehicle from sliding down the hill into the lake. There apparently were two people in the vehicle. Officials say both suffered non-life threatening injuries. Marquette City Police and Fire Department handled the crash scene. An ambulance from U.P. Health System-Marquette transported the injured. Luckily there were no snowmobilers on the lakefront trail when the crash happened.
