Tedrow, OH : One person injured in a Fatal crash in Fulton County on Thursday morning, August 4, 2016

A passenger involved in a two-vehicle crash was killed north of here Thursday morning.

Killed was Joann Adamson, 63, Northwood. She was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Norma Holguin, 69, Toledo.

According to troopers of the Ohio Highway Patrol’s Toledo post, at 9:15 a.m., a vehicle driven by Carrie Buckenmeyer, 22, Toledo, was eastbound on U.S. 20, west of Ohio 108, and left the roadway. The vehicle returned to the roadway and collided head-on with Holguin’s vehicle.

Troopers reported that Buckenmeyer and Holguin sustained serious injuries from the crash and were transported by air ambulance to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.

Adamson was transported to Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon, by Morenci, Mich., EMS.

Assisting at the scene were the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and Lyons Royalton Fire Department.

No charges have been filed at this time and the crash remains under investigation.

Alcohol use is unknown and all occupants were wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash.
