RUSSELL COUNTY, KS : Great Bend woman injured in Russell County rollover crash on Saturday, 15th June 2024

A rollover crash in Russell County left a 63-year-old Great Bend woman with suspected serious injuries on Saturday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 11:33 a.m. at the intersection of 200th Blvd. and 15th St., roughly three miles north of Interstate 70.

KHP said the woman was driving a Nissan Titan west on 15th St. when she ran a stop sign and crashed into another Great Bend woman, 19. The Nissan Titan then rolled one time in the northwest ditch.

The 63-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with suspected serious injuries. According to KHP, she was not wearing a seatbelt.

The 19-year-old driver suffered minor injuries.
