Elkton, FL : Two bus driver and two people was injured in the van were hurt, on Monday September 8th 2014.
St. Johns County authorities say a commuter van ran into a school bus that had pulled onto State Road 207 on Tuesday morning. Two bus driver and two people in the van were hurt, but no students were injured.
School officials say there were three students on the bus headed to Pedro Menendez High about 8:20 a.m. when the crash occurred. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the school bus driver stopped at a stop sign, pulled across the northbound lanes of S.R. 207 to the median strip, then proceeded in front of the oncoming van.
The school bus driver, 69-year-old Linda Fox, of St. Augustine, received serious injuries and was taken to Flagler Hospital.
Both the driver and a passenger in The Ride Solution van were also injured. St. Johns County Fire-Rescue had to cut the driver -- 31-year-old Justin Williamson -- out of the Ford passenger van. He was airlifted to Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach with serious injuries. A passenger in the van suffered minor injuries and was also taken to Flagler Hospital.
