Crossville, TN : One killed in a single-vehicle crash on I-40 on Thursday morning, March 16, 2017

One person died in a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning around 10 a.m. on I-40 at the 321.6 mile marker, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The driver and only occupant of a pickup truck ran off the left side of the east lane, over-corrected and left the road on the right side. Early investigation showed the truck flipped or rolled five times.

Identity of the victim and photos of the crash will not be published until next of kin are notified. Updates will be posted on line and will be published in the next edition.
