Conroe, TX : A deadly car crash took the lives of three people traveling to Houston on Saturday, June 17, 2017

A deadly car crash took the lives of three people traveling to Houston from Oklahoma early Saturday morning on Interstate 45 just south of Huntsville, according reports from television and the Associated Press.
The three-car accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. and shut down the southbound lanes of I-45, KPRC reported.
The incident started when a car following the SUV ended up striking it, causing the SUV to hit an abandoned vehicle and then roll over, according to the Associated Press.
The three victims inside the SUV were 17-year-old Sonia Perez, 27-year-old Maria Alvarado and 58-year-old Maria Revera De Alvarado, from Bixby, Oklahoma.
Both the driver and a passenger inside the SUV were also injured and taken to hospitals. The driver of the car who initially hit the SUV was treated at the scene.
