ADELANTO, CA : Car crashes into Adelanto gas station on Monday, 9th July 2018

A misplaced step apparently led to two men being injured when a vehicle crashed through the front doors of a local gas station here Monday morning.

The incident occurred in front of the Chevron gas station in the 11500 block of Bartlett Avenue at 9:30 a.m. Monday, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials, who responded to the scene.

Officials said two men, 61-year-old Harvey Fenstermaker and 57-year-old Jeffrey Irvin, both of Adelanto, were hurt when Fenstermaker’s vehicle crashed through the front doors of the gas station, striking Irvin who was sitting in front of the store.
