GREENWICH, CT : Crash closes Greenwich street on Thursday, December 8, 2016

Glenville Road is closed between the Lake Avenue Circle and Brookside Drive due to an overnight accident.
“A car struck a pole last night and severed it,’’ said Lt. Kraig Gray, the Greenwich police spokesman. “There are wires across the road.’’
Utility crews are coming to the scene but it may take until noon for repairs to be completed and the road reopened, officials said.
