Bronx, NY : 55-year-old woman dead after dump truck crash in Bronx on Thursday November 5 2015

Police say a 55-year-old woman is dead after she was hit by a dump truck as she tried to cross a street in the Bronx.
The accident happened at around 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the Hunts Point section.
Police say Floria Burton was trying to cross the street when she was hit by a Mack dump truck. The victim was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The truck driver remained at the scene and has not been charged. Police are investigating.
